February Bulletin for Overseas IAEA 2006 Conference Participants
 
 
Greetings from Singapore!

As we count down to the IAEA 2006 Annual Conference, we'll be sending to registered participants a monthly bulletin in February, March and April. We hope that these bulletins will help make your journey to Singapore more pleasant.

In this issue, you will find a summary of important dates, links to useful websites as well as a pre-departure checklist.

If you are presenting a paper, this is the date for you to submit your full paper. The full paper can be submitted to the Conference Programme Sub-committee via:

2. Pre-departure Checklist
Do you need to apply for a visa? Click here for more information
Is your passport valid for travel? Singapore Immigration requires that your passport has a validity period of at least 6 months (at the time of arrival).
Have you booked your air-ticket/s to Singapore ?

Changed your currency? For a currency converter, browse here
Should you wish to change your currency in Singapore , this should not be a problem as major currencies can be exchanged here. Tip: It is not necessary to carry large amounts of currency, as major credit cards are widely accepted in Singapore .

Have you booked your accommodation at either:

  (i) Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel? This is the conference hotel. You can book your accommodation directly with the hotel as an IAEA participant, using this form

Our March issue of the bulletin will introduce you to what you can see and do in Singapore , our weather and the attire appropriate for our tropical climate. In the April issue, a highlight of the exciting conference tours awaits you, and we will also include a brief on airport transfers to the two hotels.
